What affects refrigerated trailer hire cost?
Four main factors shape the price of your hire:
Trailer size. We run single-axle and twin-axle trailers with different capacities. A small chiller for a pop-up event costs less than a large twin-axle freezer for a butcher’s shop. Tell us what you need to store and we’ll recommend the right size.
Delivery distance. We’re based near Norwich and cover Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, the wider East Anglia and Sussex. A delivery to Fundenhall costs less in fuel and time than a run to Sussex. Distance affects both delivery and collection.
Hire duration. Weekend hires, week-long events, and multi-month contracts all have different pricing. Longer hires often work out better value per day. If you’re not sure how long you need the trailer, we can talk through your timeline and find the most cost-effective window.
Time of year. Peak wedding season in summer is our busiest period. Demand is high and availability gets tight, especially for weekend hires. Off-peak months and midweek hires can be more flexible. Book early if you’re planning a summer event.
What's included in the price?
Every hire includes delivery, collection, and GPS tracking and remote temperature monitoring at no extra charge. We bring the trailer to your site and pick it up when you’re done. You don’t need a tow vehicle or any special equipment.
The trailers run from a standard 13 amp 240V mains socket, so there’s no ongoing fuel cost. If you’re at a remote site without mains power, a small petrol generator will keep things running.
