What We Offer
Alongside our fridge and freezer trailers, Chilled Down hires out glass-fronted display fridges, bottle coolers and chest freezers across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and the wider East Anglia region.
Every unit is delivered to you, put where you want it, and collected at the end of your hire. They run from a standard 240V socket, so there is nothing special to install and no engineer to book. If you are already hiring a trailer from us, we can bring the smaller units out on the same delivery.
Double-Door Display Fridge
Our largest display unit, with two full-height glass doors, a lit interior and adjustable shelving. It holds up to 1,584 x 330ml cans, 1,008 x 500ml cans, or 720 bottles.
This is the one for busy bars, festival bars and larger events, where the drinks need to be visible as well as cold. Stock stays chilled and on show, and staff can restock a whole shelf at a time.
Upright Bottle Fridge
A full-height cabinet with a single glass door, holding up to 441 x 330ml cans, 308 x 500ml cans, 272 x 330ml bottles or 238 x 500ml bottles.
A sensible fit where floor space is tight but you still want a proper full-height display — smaller bars, shop counters, tasting rooms and back-of-house chilling.
Back Bar Bottle Cooler
A low, counter-height unit with twin sliding glass doors, holding up to 276 x 330ml cans, 188 x 500ml cans, or 143 bottles.
Designed to sit under or behind a bar, so served stock is within arm’s reach of whoever is pouring. Ideal for temporary bars, marquees and event setups where the serving area is the bottleneck.
Chest Freezers
We hire small and medium chest freezers for anyone needing extra frozen storage without the space or cost of a full freezer trailer. They suit shops holding seasonal stock, caterers prepping ahead of a big function, village halls and clubs running an event, and businesses covering a gap while their own freezer is repaired.

Delivery, Setup and Collection
We deliver throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and the wider East Anglia region. We bring the unit to you, position it where you need it, and make sure it is running before we leave. At the end of the hire we come back and collect it.
Pricing
Every hire is quoted individually, because the cost depends on which units you need, how many, how far we are travelling, and how long you want them for. Tell us what you are planning and we will give you a clear price. A deposit confirms the booking, with the balance due on or before delivery. We take bank transfer and card payments, and business account customers can arrange 30-day invoicing.
Coverage Area
We are based at Fundenhall near Norwich (NR16 1HQ) and deliver across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and the wider East Anglia region. If you are just outside that, give us a ring and we will see what we can do.
