Chilled Down supplies refrigerated and freezer trailers to festivals, fetes, agricultural shows and outdoor events across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Sussex. We’re family-run, based near Norwich, and we understand the rhythm of outdoor events — show-week delivery, multiple trailers across one site, and the fact that most of your infrastructure arrives in a narrow window before gates open.
We can supply more than one unit when you need cold storage in different zones: a chiller for the drinks tent, a freezer for ice-cream vendors, another fridge for backstage catering. Every trailer arrives with trailer GPS tracking GPS fitted as standard, runs from 13 amp 240V mains, and we deliver and collect so you don’t need a tow vehicle on site.
Outdoor event fridge trailers that work off-grid
Not every festival site has mains power where you need it. If your bar pitch or food vendor zone is remote, we can arrange a small generator to keep the trailer running. We’ve supplied events where the nearest socket was three fields away — it’s a common scenario and we plan for it.
Both single-axle and twin-axle trailers are available depending on the volume you’re handling. A twin-axle gives you walk-in capacity for stacking crates, kegs and wholesale trays; a single-axle works well for smaller fetes or hospitality backstage.

How booking works for festival organisers and event committees
Get in touch as soon as your event date is locked in. Summer weekends book up quickly — we’re busiest during wedding season and that overlaps with the festival calendar. If you’re running an event in June, July or August, early contact makes all the difference.
We’ll talk through how many units you need, where they’ll sit on site, what power you’ve got available, and how long you need them for. Pricing is tailored to the size of trailer, your location, event duration and time of year. We take a deposit when you book, then the balance before delivery. Business accounts with established event companies can arrange 30-day invoicing.
Delivery and collection are included. We’ll coordinate timing with your site build and breakdown schedule so the trailer arrives when you’re ready for it and disappears once your vendors have packed down.
