Wedding fridge hire for marquee and outdoor weddings
Most marquee venues don’t have commercial cold storage on site. Caterers bring their own prep, but they need somewhere to keep everything at temperature from Friday delivery through to Sunday clear-down. We deliver refrigerated and freezer trailers to wedding venues across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Sussex every weekend during peak season—May through September especially.
Our trailers are used for everything from wedding cakes and canapés to beer kegs, ice cream desserts, salmon starters, and day-after BBQ supplies. If your caterer is working out of a marquee or village hall kitchen, a chiller or freezer trailer gives them the cold storage capacity they’d have in their own premises.

What size wedding fridge trailer do you need?
We hire single-axle and twin-axle refrigerated trailers. Which one depends on your guest count and catering setup.
A single-axle trailer suits most weddings up to around 100 guests, especially if your caterer is just holding pre-prepped dishes, cakes and drinks. Twin-axle trailers are larger and better for bigger weddings (150+ guests), multi-day events, or when you’re also storing breakfast supplies for the Sunday or a second-day BBQ.
If you’re not sure, talk us through your menu and guest list when you call. Paul will recommend the right size—and we’d rather send one that’s big enough than have you run out of space the night before.

How wedding cold storage hire works
We deliver the trailer to your venue and position it where your caterer needs it—usually near the marquee entrance or the prep area. Every trailer runs off a standard 13 amp mains hookup (the same as a domestic socket), so if your venue has power for the marquee, we can plug in. For rural sites without mains, we can arrange a small generator.
You tell us your event date and we’ll schedule delivery the day before (or earlier if your caterer wants a Friday setup). We collect once you’re done—usually the Sunday or Monday after. All our trailers have trailer GPS tracking GPS fitted as standard, and we stay on call if you need anything during the hire.
Pricing is per job: trailer size, delivery distance, and hire duration. Peak wedding season books up fast, so the earlier you confirm, the better. We take a deposit to secure the date, then the balance before delivery. We accept bank transfer and card; trade accounts with 30-day invoicing are available for wedding planners and caterers who book regularly.
