How emergency fridge hire and freezer hire works
When a commercial fridge breakdown happens mid-trade, every hour counts. We run refrigerated and freezer trailers across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and East Anglia, and we’ve taken plenty of emergency callouts from butchers, farm shops, restaurants, pubs and caterers who’ve lost their cold storage overnight.
Here’s what we can’t promise: same-day delivery as a guaranteed service level. Summer is our busiest season, and when the diary’s full, it’s full. But here’s what we can do: we’ll tell you straight away whether we can get to you, and if we can, we move fast. Phone 07771 834857 and you’ll speak to Paul. You don’t need a tow vehicle. We deliver the trailer to your premises and collect it when your own kit is back online or you’ve moved the stock.
Urgent cold storage that runs from the mains
Our trailers run from a standard 13 amp 240V mains socket. If you’re on a remote site without mains power, we can arrange a small generator. Every trailer holds temperature as a chiller or a freezer depending on what you need, and every hire comes with trailer GPS tracking GPS as standard.
We carry single-axle and twin-axle trailers. For most emergency fridge hire or emergency freezer hire situations, the single-axle gives you plenty of capacity to bridge the gap until your engineer gets the walk-in sorted or you source a replacement unit. If you’ve got more stock or you’re looking at a longer breakdown window, the twin-axle is the bigger option.

What happens after you call
Once we’ve confirmed we can reach you, we’ll talk through what size trailer suits your stock volume and how long you’ll need it. Pricing is per job – we factor in trailer size, distance, how long you need it and the time of year.
For emergency callouts we ask for a deposit to confirm the booking, then the balance before collection. We take bank transfer and card payments. If you’re a business and you’d rather be invoiced, we can set up a 30-day account once we’ve got your details.
You’ll get the trailer delivered, plugged in, and ready to load. When your own cold storage is back up and running, give us a ring and we’ll arrange collection.

Summer is peak season for us. Weddings, events and outdoor catering book the trailers solid, and breakdowns always seem to happen when it’s hot.
